Dana C. King, CPL
Dana C. King is an expert in all things land, with over 25 years of experience in surveying, real estate, site construction, and land management. He earned a degree in Surveying and Mapping from The University of Texas at Tyler and started his land career in East Texas, in 2006.
In 2015, Dana obtained his Certified Professional Landman designation from the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL).
He now works with a variety of large independent and publicly traded exploration companies, taking oil, gas, and brine leases. Dana also negotiates right-of-way and has researched thousands of acres of title while managing lease acquisitions and trades.
In addition to holding an active Texas Real Estate Broker’s License, Dana is a member of many professional associations and licensing organizations, like:

Jessica King
Jessica graduated from Abilene Christian University with her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014. She practiced as a Speech Pathologist in the pediatric home health setting for eight years as a clinical lead, managing up to four assistants and a large caseload.
After Dana and Jessica were married in 2019, Dana’s business began to grow, and Jessica transitioned into helping Dana with land work, from bookkeeping to project management.
She has worked with multiple clients across several counties in Texas, organizing and managing lease records, analyzing lease data, navigating owner relations, and high-level project management.
Some of her responsibilities include budgeting lease bonuses, manpower delegation, title assignment, title review, and lease acquisitions.
Jessica is proficient in various software applications related to oil and gas. She is also a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen (AAPL) and the East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen (ETAPL).
